Mitsubishi Lancer Sportback Launched

Mitsubishi manufactured is come back for launch the new car for Mitsubishi Lancer variants. This car making it’s buzz around the world. It looks Mitsubishi is hardly interested about the prospects of Lancer in India. Now Mitsubishi launches the Sportback model of Lancer in US. Two variants of Sportback Lancer is available in US, one base model and second the Lancer Sportback Rallyart.


The Sportback Lancer is powered by a 2.4ltr four cylinder engine with peak power of 168hp.There are two drive options available one five speed manual gearbox and second with continuously variable gearbox with paddle shifter attached to the steering wheel. Mitsubishi Lancer Sportback Rallyart variant comes with a 2.0ltr, four cylinder high performance engine, this engine’s rated is 237hp at peak. The gear box is six speed with dual clutch configuration. The Rallyart Lancer Sportback is all wheel drive with an active centre differential.

The basic variant of Lancer Sportback comes with $19,190 price tag, the continuously variable gearbox with paddle shifters model requires another one thousand dollars, and if you are a fan of Mitsubishi Lancer Sportback Rallyart then you have to shell out $27,590.Let us wait and see how the Sportback going to help Lancer in US.

New Mitsubishi RVR 2011

This car is manufacture by Mitsubishi motors. This is a elegant car. All-new compact crossover, is planned for sequential release globally, and will be first released in Japan next spring. The all-new RVR is a compact crossover that provides high environmental efficiency and has a compact body while providing ample utility space and high performance.


The RVR will be fitted with an all-new 1.8L MIVEC petrol engine, and will be approximately 4.3 meters in length, featuring high fuel efficiency via its lightweight compact body. With the RVR, Mitsubhishi expands its crossover lineup, which already includes the full-size Pajero, and the mid-size Outlander. This new compact crossover will be released globally, including North America, Europe, and Asian regions including China.

Mitsubishi Lancher Launch In 2010

In 2010, Mitsubishi Motor will launch Lancer variants in Australia. Lancer is a bread earner for Mitsubishi in Australia and they witness month on month double digit growth figure for past few months. The changes in 2010 Mitsubishi Lancer are mainly aesthetics it got a refreshing chrome lined front grille and a very unique VRX tail lamp cluster. Mitsubishi now added a set of 16” alloy wheels to Lancer offering.


The next variant of 2010 Lancer, labeled as Lancer VR also got the same cup holder and an additional leather trimmed parking brake handle. A Rackford Fostage audio system is available as optional. 2010 Lancer VRX the higher version of Lancer VR got the above said audio system as part of standard equipment and sound deadening wind screens. Now the top spec Lancer Aspire and Lancer Ralliart also fitted with sound deadening wind screens and leather trimmed parking brake handle as standard. Chrome finished exterior door handles and Mitsubishi’s touch screen satellite navigation system are part of 2010 Mitsubishi Ralliart version.
